Project Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provides leadership within the safety program to maintain excellence in safety performance. 
  • Plans, develops and monitors project schedules. 
  • Participates in client meetings; reviewing project plans and commenting on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems. 
  • Provides support to site activities and supervisors by planning, directing, scheduling and coordinating of company resources (labour, equipment, materials, trade contractors). 
  • Manages contract administration of area contract including change order management, dispute resolution, contract review, obtaining building permits, and deficiency correction. 
  • Develops, tenders, awards and administrates subcontractor services. 
  • Review contract agreements; CCDC, supplementary conditions, Vendor contracts;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-ordinating project scheduling with project manager.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Facilitating project changes.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Managing information flow and ensuring documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Compile and manage project risk registers.
  • Attend meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.

Financial Controller

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all accounting operations to include billing, A/R, A/P, GL, counsel and cost accounting.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filling.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Safety Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and assisting in the maintenance of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management System. 
  • Participating in audit systems and management systems. 
  • Ensuring regular site inspections, site inductions, toolbox talks are carried out.  Recording audits and accident/incident investigations as necessary. 
  • Working with contracts manager, office staff and site teams to ensure that site documentation is relevant, timely and accurate. 
  • Facilitate training matrixes, developing & recording training requirements. 
  • Support further development and design improvements to our existing Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management documentation and systems. 
  • Review and update handbooks and policies. 
  • Review and update safe systems of work, method statements and risk assessments. 
  • Helping reduce the number of Health & Safety incidents to zero accidents. 
  • Management of the joint Health & Safety committee. 
  • Assisting Management team as needed with any additional tasks.
